The Bronx Zoo kicks off its Halloween month this weekend! Bring your family to enjoy a not-too-scary haunted safari or haunted hay ride through Creepy Hollow. Some other activities include animal-themed theater performances, a costume parade, a hay maze and trick-or-treating. Boo at the Zoo is pretty popular so get there earlier to avoid crowds if possible.

Unless you’re in the bedroom or it’s Halloween, you probably don’t want to come across looking like a french maid when you wear these sexy hoisery. Here are a few tips in wearing these this fall.
Small Fishnets with a to the knee skirt – fishnets are sexy enough that a longer skirt would spruce up your outfit enough to give it a feminine feel without being a sex symbol.
DO NOT do the fishnet stockings with seams. – they look cool but you’re going to spend the whole day/night adjusting this so it matches the other leg – and then you just look skanky when it doesn’t match. Leave these in the bedroom.
Fishnets with BIG holes – We’ve yet to find ways to make these look decent out. Just stick with the fishnets with the smaller holes.
Starting today in-stores and online, at The Children’s Place you can take an extra 50% off already reduced fall items. They’re also having 25% off outerwear. There’s also some cute fall clothing basics that’s starting at $6.
Since last week’s Friday’s Finds were so popular, we decided to do another round of them this Friday thanks once again to MizManhattan.

First-time father Curtis gives a whole new meaning to the terms “liquid diet.” He’s on a mission to consume nothing but his wife’s breast milk for as long as he can. You see, Curtis’ wife Katie is a milk machine. The mother of three – she’s also a doula and childbirth educator – has hundredsof bottles of frozen breast milk in the freezer. And there’s no way their nine-month-old baby will have a chance to drink them all before they go bad. So Curtis, who has digestive problems, figured why not drink it all himself?
Curtis is writing about his experiment on his blog, Don’t Have a Cow, Man. He outlines the rules, which are as follow:
Nothing to eat or drink except breast milk.
Blog daily about how I am feeling and how it is going.
See how many days I can make it without other food.
Anything else people might want to know?
He also provides his vital stats. Curtis is 6’4″ and weighs 185 pounds, which means he requires around 2,000 calories a day. Katie’s breast milk contains 27 to 32 calories per ounce (they had it tested), so Curtis will need to drink 66 ounces of breast milk a day if plans on getting his recommended caloric intake each day. That’s a whole lot of breast milk!
